About Navistar International Corp.
Navistar International started as the result of a merger between the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company in 1902, framing the International Harvester Company. Throughout the following 75 years, the International Harvester Company turned into an enhanced maker of cultivating hardware, gas turbines, trucks, transports, development gear, and related parts. The organization set up an agreement with the Marine Corps, just as the Navy, to create the M-Series line of military trucks that fills in as weapon transporters, freight carriers, and light mounted guns development. In 1985, the organization auctioned off its agrarian division, development hardware division, sun powered division, and scout and light trucks business. The main outstanding section was the trucks and motors division. With another business center, the organization renamed itself to Navistar International Corporation in 1986, a name that would stay until today. The 80's and 90's end up being a period of change for the organization as they obtained the American Transportation Corporation, turned into a body and case producer, and developed into a main maker of diesel motors for school transports. Navistar made an auxiliary that concentrated exclusively on protection vehicles in 2003, drove by Archie Massicotte, as the organization turned into the sole provider of MRAP defensively covered vehicles to the military In 2005, Navistar bought the Workhorse Company to return the conveyance van market, just to close it down in 2012.
